New perspectives for cooperation and investments between Moldova and Indonesia

At the invitation of His Excellency Muhammad Amhar Azeth, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, between October 16 - 20, 2019, Mr. Ion Vinaga, President of the Foundation "I AM FUTURE", takes part in the 34th edition of the Trade Expo Indonesia 2019, taking place in Jakarta.



Within this meeting of businessmen from different countries, Mr. Vinaga met with Mr. Enggartiasto Lukita, Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, and Mrs. Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Several topics were discussed regarding the establishment of bilateral economic relations between the two countries in such areas as winemaking, pharmaceutical, scientific, cultural, innovative, sports and other fields.


“This official visit is a major opportunity for Moldovan producers to promote local products. The Asian market is a very specific one, and in order to integrate into it, it is necessary to propose qualitative and competitive products or services. We were trying to start the cooperation and exchange of products, focusing on promoting Moldovan wine in the Asian area, pharmaceuticals, IT services. We also pay great attention to the development of Moldovan tourism, our task is to create the right infrastructure in this area to attract about 1 million of tourists annually. At the same time, we do not forget about attracting investments in the Moldovan economy, which is only possible with the direct involvement of the Government of the Republic of Moldova and creating a favorable entrepreneurial atmosphere for investors. Together, we must take concrete measures to improve the investment climate that will ensure the investment attractiveness of our country, as well as its international image,” said Mr. Vinaga.



"Trade Expo Indonesia" is Indonesia's largest annual trade, tourism and investment exhibition, established to stimulate the export of Indonesian products by expanding market access and diversifying export markets.
